Trail of Lights - Shepherd of the Hills Homestead
November - Early January Drive through a fantasy land of holiday lights, sound and motion from the comfort of your own car. Thousands of carefully constructed displays featuring your holiday favorites in brilliant color will dazzle you. A trip to the top of Inspiration Tower is included. The kids can even visit Santa in his tent and have their picture taken with him. Admission to the Trail is $8 per person, max. $20 per vehicle.
An Old Time Christmas - Silver Dollar City
November - December
Be prepared to awaken the child within as An Old Time Christmas presents "The Happiest Christmas of All." Over 3 million lights, a 5-story special effects musical Christmas tree, "Twinkle" - the 17 foot talking interactive Christmas tree, carolers roving around the square, and Broadway-style holiday production shows including the return of "Christmas in the Ozarks" will cause the sounds of the season to ring in your ears. The all-new Red Gold Heritage Hall will be transformed into the little town of Bethlehem along with traditional Israeli music and crafts of that time and place - and even a living nativity. The sites, sounds, and aromas of the season transform the park into a winter wonderland and a treat for the entire family.
Annual Adoration Parade & Lighting Ceremony
Festive, big, old-fashioned Christmas parade with over 70 bands and floats passes through the streets of historic Downtown Branson. The climax of the even is the lighting of the nativity scene atop Mount Branson.
November 1 - December 31 experience the magic of Christmas during this event, as all of Branson is aglow for the holidays. This drive-thru display will delight children of all ages. Your journey begins with a magical one-mile drive along a path illuminated with more than 350 displays. Conveniently located off Shepherd of the HiIls Expressway and Roark Valley Road, this one of a kind family experience promises to be spectacular. Branson Area Festival of Lights Drive-Through is open from dusk until 11:00 PM 7 days a week. Admission is $12.00 per family vehicle.
Ye Olde English Christmas
First full week in November
Sponsored by the Branson's Veterans Task Force, this annual event has become the largest veteran's homecoming in the country. This tribute honors the veterans who have served as stewards of our freedom. It includes special ceremonies, receptions, shows, concerts, banquets and activities for those who have proudly served our country. The salute's 66th Annual Veterans' Day Parade and Ceremony in downtown Branson is one of the highest points of the homecoming. It is open for all to share the fun and an opportunity to salute our valiant fighting men and women.
